Samantha Hanson is a trusted leader and advocate for North Memorial Health’s 6,500 workers. She has been spearheading efforts to foster a supportive culture for LGBTQA and other employees at the Robbinsdale-based health system. This work has resulted in North Memorial Health’s score of 90 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index. She recently hired her organization’s first diversity, equity, and inclusion leader to accelerate this work. During the pandemic, Hanson also implemented supportive, flexible remote-work programs that kept North Memorial Health from instituting layoffs.
