Penny Cermak moved her family to the Twin Cities in 2021 to join Bloomington-based HealthPartners, bringing 30 years of executive finance experience concentrated in health care. She has a strong track record of strengthening profitability and establishing financial flexibility in response to changing market environments. At HealthPartners, Cermak is responsible for leading finance, real estate, and supply chain functions, as well as supporting growth strategies across the HealthPartners system. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Cermak oversaw implementation of new operating efficiencies to help the organization operate more effectively. Cermak also serves on national industry boards, including the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
