Nichol Higdon oversees finance, human resources, information and technology, and compliance, along with facilities and guest services departments for the McKnight Foundation. The Minneapolis-based foundation advances climate solutions in the Midwest and supports arts and culture in Minnesota, as well as neuroscience and global food systems. Throughout her career, Higdon has shown great skill in creating systems that lead to deeper organizational effectiveness and impact. Currently, Higdon is spearheading a decarbonization initiative, transitioning the McKnight office to 100% electric. Before joining McKnight in 2020, Higdon held senior leadership roles serving YMCAs in human resources, operations, fundraising, and board and community engagement.
