As a principal strategist at Minneapolis business consultancy Imagine Deliver, Monica Cruz Zorrilla is known for connecting community insights to client goals using equity-centered design and creative engagement. Currently she is focused on a community foundation project advancing Minnesota’s role in sustainable freshwater management. Her previous roles include associate director at HACER, where she expanded the project portfolio and budget sixfold. She also worked as head of community affairs at the Consulate of Mexico in St. Paul, where her programs in health, education, and financial literacy benefited more than 22,000 individuals annually. She serves on the board of St. Mary’s Health Clinics and the advisory boards of the Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
