Inspired by her mother’s experiences as an immigrant and businesswoman, Michelle Maryns founded We Sparkle Co., a public benefit corporation with the aim of building a more inclusive economy by empowering underestimated entrepreneurs. Based in Minneapolis, We Sparkle provides AI-powered services to more than 600 subscribers who are predominantly women and people of color. Maryns has supported thousands of underestimated entrepreneurs in launching and expanding their businesses. Her leadership has been recognized in the past year with the prestigious Bush Fellowship and Global Good Fund Fellowship. Active in the community, she holds leadership positions on the Forge North Leadership Council, Impact Hub Minneapolis-St. Paul board, and Minnesota Healing Justice Network.
