Michael Boulette established a Domestic Relations presence within Taft’s Minneapolis office in 2021 and has grown the team into a local leader serving some of the Twin Cities’ most prominent families in business, sports, entrepreneurship, and medicine. This year, he took the helm of the firm’s national Domestic Relations practice, leading 22 attorneys across eight major markets. Boulette earned a 2022 Attorney of the Year honor for protecting the rights of a disadvantaged spouse before Minnesota’s Supreme Court. He’s also been accepted as a fellow in both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the LGBT Family Law Institute. Boulette sits on the board of governors for the State Bar Association and finds time for pro bono work on behalf of victims of domestic violence and Native American parents.
