Melinda Maher oversees the legal and compliance functions for Fulcrum Health, a Plymouth-based nonprofit specializing in physical medicine benefit management. She played a pivotal role in Fulcrum Health’s most recent strategic acquisition, guiding the negotiation team and demonstrating resilience and ingenuity throughout the process. Her peers say that her efforts, coupled with her ability to swiftly identify solutions and maintain a positive outlook, were paramount in navigating complexities and ensuring the success of the deal. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Maher spent most of her career with Dorsey & Whitney, most recently as the firm’s general counsel. Maher is involved in pro bono health care matters for indigent clients and also consults for the nonprofit Cancer Legal Care. She’s a regular guest lecturer on the U.S. health care system at the Carlson School of Management.
