Mara Humphrey is the newly appointed president and CEO of the Minnesota Credit Union Network. With nearly $39 billion in assets, the St. Paul credit union serves 2.1 million members at over 400 Minnesota branch locations. Previously, Humphrey was the credit union’s chief advocacy and engagement officer, where she led key initiatives for financial protection in the state, including first-in-the-nation legislation that recovered costs for financial institutions impacted by data breaches. She also led a coalition of financial institutions to pass legislation intended to prevent the exploitation of older and vulnerable adults. Humphrey helped spearhead the Minnesota Credit Union Women’s Leadership Network, and she serves on the American Association of Credit Union Leagues state issues committee. She is president of the St. Paul Regional Board of Water Commissioners.
