Kristen Larson has worked in the legal industry for 27 years, with 18 spent as in-house counsel at national banks. At TCF Bank, she advised on the successful completion of customer system integrations with Chemical Bank and Huntington Bank to mitigate risk and disruption to customers. It’s this in-house practical experience that uniquely qualifies her to advise banks, credit unions, fintechs, and other industry clients at Ballard Spahr in Minneapolis. In the past two years, she’s published five industry expert articles, presented 14 continuing legal education seminars, and drafted more than 100 industry blog posts. She’s also a leader in the Twin Cities pro bono community. During her tenure as president of LegalCORPS, she doubled the nonprofit’s budget and staff. She also served on the Minnesota Corporate Pro Bono Council for nine years and is on the Minnesota Women Lawyers board of directors.
