Kera West is a biomedical engineer who led the creation of the optics business for Minnetronix Medical, which was key to shifting the St. Paul company’s capabilities beyond general medical device contract development to broader technology. In 2022, the optics business shipped more than 2,300 devices and executed more than 20 development projects for breakthrough technologies, including the first wireless arthroscopic camera. West kickstarted a partnership with INO, Canada’s largest optics research organization, to accelerate the commercialization of optical devices. She’s a dedicated leader who works hard to empower her team and innovate.
