Karla Robertson joined Pentair in 2017 as executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary overseeing all aspects of legal, corporate governance, compliance, privacy, and insurance matters for the Golden Valley-based water treatment company. Her scope quickly grew through partnerships with the executive leadership team and board on governance-related topics including environmental and social issues, and she was promoted to the additional role of chief social responsibility officer in 2020. In the past two years, Robertson has led efforts with Pentair’s board and CEO to create social responsibility strategy, including the company’s first strategic targets report in 2022. She serves on the Pentair Foundation Board and is an executive sponsor of the Pentair Women’s Resource Group.
