Joe Chybowski joined Bridgewater Bank in 2013 as a financial analyst on the rise and became CFO in 2016. Since then, he’s built a talented and nimble finance division and national network of investors, investment bankers, and professional advocates. When he started at Bridgewater, the St. Louis Park-based bank’s assets totaled $450 million; as of September, that’s grown to $4.1 billion. Chybowski has identified alternative and creative means to raise capital. He took the bank public, raising nearly $60 million for the holding company and another $27 million for the selling shareholders. He also finds time to volunteer and is currently on the board of People Serving People.
