Jennifer Alstad has been on the Allina Health board since 2016, guiding the Minneapolis-based nonprofit health system to become a better community partner and address diversity, equity, and inclusion through the lens of a provider, employer, purchaser, and community leader. Alstad is chair of Allina’s quality and population health committee, helping create more access, affordability, and equity for the communities the system serves. Alstad is the president and founder of bswing, a Minneapolis design firm focusing on issues that affect human health, performance, and potential. In addition to Allina Health, she has served on the boards of the University of Minnesota Foundation and the Girl Scout Council of Greater Minneapolis. She was also an adjunct faculty member at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design.
