At YMCA of the North, Jeanne Crain has helped guide the Minneapolis-based nonprofit into what it describes as a whole-person well-being organization over the past year. Now retired, Crain was president and CEO of Bremer Financial Corporation. For YMCA of the North, she and the board work with executive leadership on initiatives for services such as childcare and preventive community-based healthcare. The organization serves more than 320,000 people annually, working to advance youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. “Jeanne leads with humility, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to the people we serve,” says Glen Gunderson, president and CEO.
