Jacinth Smiley leads all aspects of finance for Hormel Foods Corp., including accounting, internal controls, strategy, performance, treasury, tax, and information technology. She brings more than 25 years of global financial and accounting experience to the company, which she joined in 2021. Today, Smiley leads the evolution of Hormel’s financial acumen as it executes its growth platforms and strategic imperatives while continuing to deliver value to its shareholders. An active community member, Smiley is a member and treasurer of the St. Thomas Renaissance Foundation, a nonprofit with a mission to bring economic development to the parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica, where she grew up. She also is on the board of the nonprofit Shelters to Shutters and the Donaldson Co., a global filtration company.
