As CEO of the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN), Glen Lloyd has demonstrated a strong commitment to racial equity and public health, particularly in serving marginalized individuals in the community. In 2022, the Bloomington-based organization secured passage of the Seizure Smart Schools legislation, which requires all Minnesota public and private schools to receive seizure training. Lloyd has played a pivotal role in EFMN’s recent fundraising success. Last year, the organization achieved its highest-ever fundraising, and Lloyd has since surpassed that goal in 2023, including a $5 million single gift and substantial increases in donations across the board. He also spearheaded the mission outcomes team at EFMN, ensuring that individual community organizers can help their respective communities navigate the challenges and needs associated with epilepsy or seizures.
