Since joining International Dairy Queen (IDQ) in 2012, Genevieve Beck has been repeatedly recognized for her ability to craft and communicate solutions that meet business needs and legal requirements. As deputy general counsel for the Bloomington-based company, she is lead legal counsel for domestic and international new market entry and restaurant development, ownership transfers, and franchise compliance functions. In 2024, she completed new master franchise agreements for five international markets in addition to supporting the opening of 379 DQ restaurants in 10 countries, the second-highest new restaurant openings in the history of IDQ. Beck’s practical approach and steadiness under pressure recently led to her appointment as an incident leader for the IDQ crisis response team.
