A force in the tech industry, Erin Verbeck-Lane has transitioned from associate to leadership roles in a short amount of time. Working remotely from Minnesota for Washington-based IT services firm Tanium, her duties include on-call incident response for commercial and government environments and overseeing the Tanium Cloud’s vulnerability management program. A proponent of collaboration, innovation, and curiosity, her expertise lies in the fields of cybersecurity and data—historically separate functions. She highlighted the importance of collaboration between security practitioners and data scientists at the MinneWiADs (women in analytics and data science) conference in spring 2023. “The future for women in tech is bright, and Erin is a large part of the reason I believe this to be true,” says a former manager.
