Echo Huang came to the U.S. from China to study accounting and finance at the age of 20, with only $800 to her name. Today, she runs her successful Plymouth-based firm, Echo Wealth Management, responsible for more than $150 million in assets. Her clientele is 15% minority and LGBTQ+. Echo Wealth Management was established in 2015 after Huang’s successful career in private and public accounting. With the desire to share her expertise beyond her firm, Huang authored the book Own Your Future: One Women’s Story of Immigration and Financial Freedom. To give back to her alma mater, Huang established the Echo Huang College of Business Scholarship for International Students at Winona State University.
