An assistant professor of medicine and pediatrics at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Elizabeth Rogers is a health services researcher, general internist, and pediatrician who shares her deep expertise as a founding board member of the nonprofit Minnesota Doctors for Health Equity. Her real-world research focuses on improving health outcomes for patients with multiple chronic conditions who also face social risks. She leads the Minneapolis-based organization with a deep understanding of health disparities in Minnesota and drives change with the lens of equity and social justice; this follows nine years of serving on the board of Doctors for Global Health. In July 2021, she was elected by peers to serve on the U of M medical school office of faculty affairs diversity, equity, and inclusion council.
