Dr. Achin Bhowmik leads efforts to revolutionize the hearing industry at Eden Prairie-based Starkey, which is transforming hearing aids into multifunctional health and communication devices through advanced sensors and artificial intelligence. He is responsible for Starkey’s technology strategy, global research, product development, and engineering departments. Most recently, Bhowmik and Starkey announced updates to Evolv AI, the company’s most advanced hearing tech, introducing even clearer sound quality with more background noise reduction and improved two-way audio capabilities. Bhowmik is an adjunct professor at Stanford School of Medicine and Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute, a Stanford research institute.
