Recently retired as senior vice president of government and community relations at HealthPartners, Donna Zimmerman brings her knowledge of administration and policy to Twin Cities PBS, where she is in her first year as chair of the board of trustees. She’s also a member of the executive committee and government and public affairs task force for the public television station. TPT president and CEO Sylvia Strobel says Zimmerman was a key advisor during the pandemic and development of the 2030 Strategic Roadmap. Zimmerman also served as a key liaison between HealthPartners, TPT, and other organizations for Make It OK, a movement to reduce the stigma of mental illnesses, and Little Moments Count, a statewide movement to help parents and the community understand the importance of talking, playing, reading, and singing with young children.
