Don Moschkau directs the strategy behind talent recruitment and human resources for Fairview Health Services. Over the past 18 months, Moschkau has led a team to address staffing challenges within the Minneapolis-based health care organization. Together, the team has identified several initiatives to address recruitment and retention, resulting in expanded nursing recruitment and increased staff hires, while decreasing the time for onboarding. Moschkau recently completed his term as president of the board and executive committee for Clare Housing, an organization that provides housing solutions for people in the Twin Cities living with HIV/AIDS. He also teaches at the University of Minnesota in the Health Service Management program, where he previously served on the advisory board, the curriculum committee, and internship committees.
