Since becoming the president and CEO of Fraser in 1989, Diane Cross has helped it grow from a $1 million nonprofit serving 200 clients annually to a nationally renowned multi-service organization with a budget of $134 million and a staff of more than 1,700 serving 15,000-plus clients annually from 56 locations. Today, Minneapolis-based Fraser is the largest provider of services for autism, mental health, and disability in Minnesota, offering health care, housing, education, and community support services to children, teens, adults, and their families. Throughout her tenure, Cross has innovated to meet the growing needs of Minnesotans. In 2024, Fraser Specialty Healthcare was named a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), a nationally recognized, cutting-edge model of behavioral health care. As a CCBHC, Fraser can streamline access, eliminate waitlists, and increase client access by as much as 25% every year.
