Denielle Larson is a senior project engineer in the automotive and aerospace division at 3M’s Maplewood headquarters. In 2022 alone, she worked on 25 projects and managed $20 million in capital while spearheading process changes for 3M, including a facility-wide chemical codes analysis to maintain compliance with chemical containment and building codes. She also executed a $670,000 equipment installation ahead of schedule and under budget and designed a new automotive product and improved manufacturing efficiencies for others. An advocate of women in STEM, Larson supports 3M’s Engineering Women’s group and the Society of Women Engineers. She strives for continual improvement in her personal and professional life and imparts that ethos to those she mentors.
