Deborah Olson, retired CEO of Nelson Laboratories, has served on the Sanneh Foundation board of directors since 2013, helping advance the St. Paul-based organization’s mission of improving lives, uniting communities, and empowering youth. She’s been instrumental in helping the board achieve better gender balance (30% women) and racial/ethnic diversity (40%) and provides support to new members. Her advocacy in Sanneh’s Lead the Way Campaign resulted in $13 million to fund construction of Minnesota’s largest indoor sports dome, remodel the Conway Community Center, and build the Delta Dental Equity Center—facilities that serve more than 1,100 people annually.
