Joining Minneapolis-based Sleep Number in 2018, Cynthia Topel has provided proactive and practical advice to business partners, led legal and cross-functional teams, and driven process efficiency and scale for commercial transactions. Topel is a founding member of Sleep Number’s DEI Council. She also developed the structure for Sleep Number’s commitment to the U.N. Global Compact under the corporate responsibility initiative. In the past three years, she has served on the board of the Minnesota Independence College and Community, a training program for young adults with learning differences and autism spectrum disorders.
