Craig Warren

CEO, Washburn Center for Children

Description

The first Black CEO of Washburn Center for Children, Craig Warren brings with him more than 25 years of leadership in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including his service as an armor officer in the U.S. Army. Under his leadership, the Minneapolis organization has sharply increased the number of families served by focusing on organizational culture, employee wellness, inclusivity, and accountability. As CEO, Warren advocates for increasing awareness of children’s mental health through speaking engagements with legislators, media, donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners. He also blends his experiences as a veteran, including values of loyalty, duty, and service, into his leadership. This work has helped put Washburn front and center as the broader community navigates a mental health crisis.
