For more than four decades, Christ Schmitt has helped shape the commercial and residential landscape of the Twin Cities. He co-founded RoehrSchmitt 20 years ago with business partner Michael Roehr, and since then the Minneapolis-based firm has grown substantially. It nearly tripled its design-fee revenue over a four-year period while Schmitt continued to focus on maintaining clients and building relationships. He is known to prioritize work-life balance, talent recognition, and mentorship of the upcoming generation of architects. Schmitt serves as president-elect of the Minneapolis chapter of the American Institute of Architects, the professional organization for architects and design professionals.
