Karin Martinson built her career on bold imagery, clean graphics, and big ideas. Often found styling shoots and directing on set, she brings a hands-on creative approach to every production. As the owner of Studio Caswell and Studio 1414, she has created two complementary spaces—one dedicated to crafting striking commercial work, the other an expansive production environment for ambitious concepts. Together, the studios reflect Martinson’s belief that great visual storytelling requires both a strong creative vision and the space to bring it to life.

Studio Caswell is a commercial photography studio capturing everything from products to pets—and plenty in between. Defined by bold, graphic style, technical precision, and meticulous attention to detail, the studio offers full production services and expert retouching.

Studio 1414 was built for scale. The large-format rental studio offers generous square footage and a flexible layout suited for full productions, campaign shoots, corporate off-sites, and immersive brand experiences.

Martinson also serves on the board of ASMP-MSP as Sponsorship Chair, supporting and advocating for the professional photography community.
