Colette Dahlin brings more than 32 years of experience in community banking to her role at Village Bank, based in St. Francis. She specializes in residential mortgage lending, including construction-to-permanent financing, home equity lending, and loans for barndominiums (houses of barn-like design) and shouses (“shop houses,” which combine a residence and a commercial enterprise). Over the past seven years, Dahlin has led development of a one-time close construction-to-permanent loan program, aiming to simplify the building process for homeowners while supporting strategic loan growth. She also designed practical credit education tools to help borrowers improve financial readiness, working to turn previously declined applications into future approvals.
