Lawyer Chris Pham built relationships with sports agents, business managers, athletes, and entertainers when he co-owned The Exchange nightclub in Minneapolis. Now he’s co-chair of Fredrikson’s sports and entertainment group. He represents professional athletes in areas such as structuring business ventures and crafting prenuptial agreements, and works with University of Minnesota athletes on name, image, and likeness (NIL) monetization. “If the House v. NCAA settlement moves forward, schools will start sharing revenue with athletes for the first time,” Pham says. “It [would be] the biggest shift in college sports since Title IX.”
