As an eight-year board member for the Golden Valley-based Headwaters Relief Organization, DelRae Messer has led and funded disaster response efforts, including home rebuilding projects and nutrition assistance programs for a mental health clinic serving schoolchildren in New Orleans. She has also funded an award-winning children’s coloring book series addressing Covid-19 emotional trauma, distributing more than 10,000 books globally. And her community initiatives demonstrate consistent leadership, from organizing tulip planting in local parks to hosting educational women’s empowerment events. With a background in health and wellness, Messer in the past two years has consulted for youth sports and brain fitness technology platforms as well, focusing on accessibility, equity, and innovation.
