After proving instrumental in opening Saul Ewing’s Minneapolis office, Max Bremer was named office managing partner in February 2024. He advises private equity funds, entrepreneurs, and established operating companies on key transactions, including R.D. Offutt Co.’s closing of the sale of Dot’s Homestyle Pretzels to the Hershey Co. in a deal valued at about $900 million, the largest divestiture in RDO’s history and the second-largest acquisition in Hershey’s history. Bremer has also represented Hand Family Cos. in such deals as the buyout of its private equity partner in the company’s Lakeshore Beverage subsidiary. Transactional department chair Al Coleman calls Bremer “the consummate deal attorney.”
