A graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design in Michigan, Angela Two Stars is an enrolled member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate tribe. She came to NACDI in 2019. “The artists we have worked with in the last few years have addressed important topics that promote understanding of the Native American community,” Two Stars says, citing Native American identity, homelessness, and truth- telling about history. Minneapolis-based NACDI is in partnership with Hennepin Theatre Trust to create more of the striking “We Are Still Here” murals around the Twin Cities.
