Beth Kieffer Leonard joined Minneapolis-based Lurie LLP in 1984 and worked her way up to the accounting firm’s managing partner in 2007. In September, she became partner-in-charge of the Minnesota office of EisnerAmper, as Leonard and her Lurie partners decided to merge with the New York-based firm. Candid about tough recruiting challenges, Leonard says scale was necessary to attract talent and afford major technology investments. “We’ve had incredible growth over the past several years,” Leonard says. Lurie’s revenue increased by 20% to $41.5 million for fiscal 2022. Now, she’s committed to producing substantial growth under a national banner.
