In September, after more than a decade at DuPont, Kimberly Kupiecki joined Boston-based biotech powerhouse Ginkgo Bioworks, a Russell 1000 company whose markets include pharma, nutrition, and agriculture. Ginkgo is “looking to grow its sustainability, energy, and climate group, and that’s my passion,” she says. Potential customers include wastewater management firms, environmental services companies, and producers of alternative fuels. Kupiecki also has a book coming out in 2023, The Beautiful Mess, about the challenges and joys of growing careers while raising families.
