Keisha Powell is strengthening equity, inclusion, and diversity at Children’s Minnesota. Over the past year or so, Powell has advanced the Minneapolis-based organization’s employee resource group (ERG) strategy, including its first ERG leadership summit. Under her leadership, ERG participation has continued growing year over year, up from 242 new members in 2023 to 292 new members in 2025. She helped embed equity and inclusion earlier in the employee experience in the 2025 redesign of orientation, based on employee feedback. She also launched the Inclusive Leadership Certification Program, a 12-month curriculum for clinical leaders that builds intercultural competence.
