Rene Madrid has worked to advance financial inclusion across the Twin Cities throughout his nearly 30-year career, fueled by his own experience as an immigrant from El Salvador. For more than a decade, he has led U.S. Bank’s branch on Lake Street in Minneapolis—one of the region’s most diverse corridors—helping small businesses and expanding access to financial tools. Over the past 15 years, he has mentored more than 65 high school students, equipping them with professional confidence. Madrid’s other community efforts include collaborating with schools, cultural organizations, and the Latino Economic Development Center.
