At Dorsey & Whitney, Erin Bryan advises banks, financial institutions, and other financial services clients on complex legal and regulatory matters. All along, she has built her career on the belief that authenticity creates opportunity. As an openly LGBTQ+ attorney, she rejected early advice to remain closeted professionally, embracing visibility as a way to build stronger relationships and challenge barriers. She led the Minneapolis-based firm’s LGBTQ+ Resource Group from 2020 to 2024 and successfully advocated for equitable fertility benefits for same-sex couples, removing barriers that had unintentionally excluded LGBTQ+ families. Through educational programming, Pride initiatives, and ongoing advocacy for transgender and nonbinary inclusion, Bryan has helped build a culture where people feel empowered.
