At Golden Valley-based General Mills, Courtney Schroeder works as head of belonging and community impact. For more than a year, he also has served as board chair for Project for Pride in Living (PPL), which provides housing for low-income individuals and families across the Twin Cities. Schroeder has co-chaired the Minneapolis-based nonprofit’s executive search committee, led a redesign of board committees, and strengthened the CEO’s annual goals while increasing overall board financial contributions. Responding to an internal board survey, he launched a board portal and summer property tours for members to experience PPL’s work firsthand. PPL reported its most productive year in 2025. Schroeder also serves on the board of the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
