Description

Bill Baxley is a design principal in Gensler’s Minneapolis office whose current work focuses on the future of the city’s urban core and the role design can play in its revitalization. In Minneapolis, his recent work spans major civic and cultural efforts shaping the city’s future, including early explorations for a new Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx arena, conceptual civic visions for the downtown, and the Westonka Library, Hennepin County’s first net-zero library, which is under construction. He also led the project for Pillsbury Creative Commons, a hub for creativity in south Minneapolis. Within Gensler itself, he has cultivated a “studio culture” centered on material exploration, and he is involved in the firm’s innovation initiatives related to AI.
