Korwin Schmidt has served as CFO at Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities (UGMTC) since 2013, where he has overseen more than a decade of unmodified financial audits. Schmidt led reinvestment of two properties sold in the past four years and tripling of the St. Paul-based nonprofit’s long-term reserves that will fuel reinvestment in existing and new properties. He also stewards the investments of bequests and estate gifts. Since 2020, Schmidt has helped UGMTC overcome significant facilities challenges. As part of the 2023 strategic plan, he led an initiative to improve facilities, which included consolidating, purchasing, and selling facilities, as well as overseeing multimillion-dollar projects.
