TCB’s 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees Announced
TCB’s 2024 Minnesota Business Hall of Fame inductees have created and grown companies and organizations that range from manufacturing to wellness, retail, and tribal management. They’ve collectively led thousands of employees and contributed not only to the local economy but to philanthropic initiatives, community building and boards of directors, both nonprofit and corporate. And they’ve built enduring Minnesota businesses.
The 2024 inductees are:
Melanie Benjamin, CEO, Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe
Kate Kelly, former EVP/Regional President, PNC Bank, Minnesota Market
Ken Larson, founder, Slumberland Furniture
Jay Lund, retired CEO, Andersen Corp.
Dave Mortensen, co-founder and president, Self Esteem Brands
Chuck Runyon, co-founder and CEO, Self Esteem Brands
These six individuals join a long list of esteemed Minnesota business leaders who have been inducted into the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame over the last 20-plus years. Their names are displayed on a wall at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
The 2024 inductees will be featured in the June/July issue of Twin Cities Business and honored at an event at the McNamara Alumni Center on July 23.
