TCB Announces Launch of 2026 Great Workplaces in Minnesota Program

Registration is now open through October 3 for TCB’s 2026 Great Workplaces in Minnesota Program, which celebrates outstanding employers across the state.

Minnesota’s vibrant business community and talented workforce make it an exceptional place to live and work. Recognizing this, TCB launched the Great Workplaces in Minnesota program in 2025 to honor the state’s most outstanding employers—organizations where employees are engaged and eager to contribute. During its inaugural year, the program featured winners in the February/March issue of the magazine and celebrated them at an event on February 10.

Reflecting on the significance of the event, Jaime Raul Zepeda, executive vice president of Best Companies Group and event emcee, shared his perspective:

“Amidst -7 degree weather I witnessed something remarkable: a room full of business leaders celebrating work itself. Not mergers. Not profits. But genuine workplace joy. They’ve figured out that excellence and enjoyment aren’t opposing forces. They’re proof that when you build a culture of respect and enthusiasm, results follow naturally. Most organizations see fun as a distraction from work. The best ones know it’s rocket fuel.”

Zepeda’s remarks captured the spirit of the event, emphasizing the importance of workplace culture in driving success. This sentiment was echoed by last year’s winners, including Bridging, a nonprofit organization recognized for its commitment to inclusivity and respect.

Myra Falteysek, Director of Human Resources at Bridging, said: “I am incredibly proud to accept this recognition on behalf of our dedicated team. Being named one of the 2025 Great Workplaces in Minnesota is a testament to Bridging’s culture of inclusivity, respect, and appreciation that we strive to foster every day. It’s an exciting moment for all of us at Bridging. We look forward to building upon this strong foundation as we grow together and serve our community.”

Bridging’s recognition highlights the kind of workplace culture the program seeks to celebrate.

As TCB prepares for the 2026 program, Publisher Shelly Elmore reflected on the importance of recognizing these exceptional workplaces and the partnerships that make the program possible.

“We’re excited to be gearing up for our 2026 program. These workplaces deserve a spotlight—not because we say so, but because their employees do! We’re grateful to partner with Best Companies Group, who drives the research for the program, and to have the endorsement of MNSHRM, a respected human resources council.”

Building on last year’s success, the 2026 program will continue to highlight Minnesota businesses’ commitment to fostering dynamic, thriving work environments. Organizations can register for free, with optional access to additional survey data.
