Target Giving Nicollet Mall Store A $10M Facelift
The renovations will be complete by September and includes a major overhaul of the grocery department.
The Target store on Minneapolis’ Nicollet Mall is getting a much-needed upgrade after over a decade and a half.
Â
CEO Brian Cornell told downtown business interests that the $10 million renovation would give the store a modern aesthetic with stenciled concrete and wood plank accents, upgrade the grocery area with grab-and-go options and install more self-checkout lanes.
Â
The remodel will start this month and be complete by September. The store will remain open during that time.
