Veteran office broker Jim Montez has spent all of his career in downtown Minneapolis. He’s worked on numerous North Loop properties, including the Ford Center, Loose-Wiles Building, The Nordic, and the Be the Match building. “I feel like I’ve had a big thumbprint on the North Loop,” he says. Now he’s leading leasing for the high-profile Dayton’s Project. Project developers and brokers have been tight-lipped about the $350 million project, but at least 100,000 square feet of potential office leases are in the pipeline. The project’s biggest selling point is its topflight amenities package. “There’s nothing like it,” says Montez. “When we do tours of it, people stop dead in their tracks.”
