The author of Anatomy of Investing, Dean Junkans is leading and coordinating the national investment strategy of Wells Fargo's Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement groups with surgical precision. Junkans, chief investment officer of the bank's Wealth Management Group since 2004, saw his role expanded in March 2012 to include the brokerage and retirement lines of business. The significance of that promotion lies in its scope; he now oversees $1.4 trillion in client assets instead of $170 billion.
