Stillwater-based Lift Bridge Brewing Co. made headlines earlier this year when it opened a new taproom and production facility in Wisconsin. For co-founder Brad Glynn, the choice was less political and more practical: The brewery’s new location shares space with the Five Watt Coffee team, who are longtime friends. As the company recovers from pandemic losses, he hopes to continue expanding brewing operations. He’s also mulling another taproom in a neighboring state, since Minnesota law only allows for one taproom per brewery. Outside of beer, Glynn sees potential in the fast-growing seltzer market; his brewery recently served as the flavor consultant for Gordon Ramsay’s new line of Hell’s Seltzers.
