Six Minnesotans Win EY Heartland Awards
Six leaders from five Minnesota-based companies have won Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 Heartland Awards from Ernst & Young, or EY.
The annual awards were announced Thursday night at a Minneapolis event, which EY said spotlighted individuals who are “transforming industries, impacting communities, and creating long-term value.”
The Minnesota winners are:
- Tom Barrett and Sarah Barrett Reiner of Barrett Petfood, a Brainerd-based pet food manufacturer
- Mike Blue of HistoSonics, a Plymouth-based medical device startup
- Shashi Yadiki of Smart Data Solutions, an Eagan-based health care technology company
- Michael E. Jordan of UNRL, a St. Paul-based athletic clothing company
- Bret Weiss of WSB, a Golden Valley-based engineering and consulting firm
Five additional business leaders won EY awards from other Heartland region states. They are:
- Ben Jackson of Bungii LLC in Overland Park, Kansas
- Martin Gross of Gross-Wen Technologies in Slater, Iowa
- Chris Hoffmann of HB Solutions Group in Brentwood, Missouri
- Lindsay Mullenger of Petite Keep LLC in St. Louis, Missouri
- Charlie Tetrick of Walz Tetrick Advertising in Mission, Kansas
These 11 Heartland winners will have the opportunity to compete for Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards in November.
Erin Donovan, EY partner and Heartland program director, characterized the winners as “true pioneers, pushing the boundaries of excellence and establishing new standards within their fields.”
